As a club we are committed to supporting your children to enjoy their football, while developing as players and people. However, there may be occasions when you wish to ask questions about our approach or share feedback on a certain topic or issue with us.
We have summarised this process below:
- If you have a question or item to raise regarding a footballing matter such as playing time, position, training activities, etc, please address these in the first instance to your Team Manager.
- If you feel the footballing matter has not been addressed fully through the Team Manager then please discuss this with our Head of Football.
- If you need to address this further then please contact the Club Secretary – secretary@apsleyfc.org
- Please refer all child welfare to our Child Welfare Officer at football@apsleyfc.org. Examples could be a racial or homophobic slur or inappropriate foul and abusive language directed at a player, match official, coach, spectator etc, a concern relating to the mental health or social well being of a child playing for the club, an inappropriate physical approach or action towards a child playing for the club etc. As a club we fully support the FA’s RESPECT campaign and do not tolerate any of these situations. Please be assured we will always investigate these welfare matters with confidentiality and with the relevant organisations such as other clubs, the leagues and FA. We will apply appropriate actions including removing and members or volunteers from the club if warranted.
If you do provide feedback or ask questions, please can you remember that the club is run by volunteers doing their best to provide a positive and safe experience for your children. We will not tolerate rude or abusive approaches during this process.
