Tournament
Over 200 teams from 15 countries: now that’s an international competition. With the Holland Cup, it’s clear that football is a world sport. The international competition occurs across four beautiful sports parks around the Centre of Almere. And if you want to blow off a little steam, you can visit the nearby Amsterdam Arena, the home grounds of Ajax or the famous Centre of Amsterdam. It’ll be a thrilling Easter weekend… The Holland Cup is organised by FC Almere, AS’80 &SC Buitenboys ASC Waterwijk and Sporting Almere. These clubs have a combined total of 300 youth teams and 6000
members. Each sports park has at least five pitches. Furthermore, each location has a lovely clubhouse with changing rooms, showers and a large canteen with a terrace. The Amsterdam Arena is half an hour’s drive by car from the sports parks. You can use the fantastic park and ride (P&R) facilities and take the metro or tram to Amsterdam’s city centre.
Sport Facility
The Holland Cup is played at the four modern sports venues of the organising teams, located close to the Centre of Almere. Each sports park has at least five pitches. Furthermore, each location has a lovely clubhouse with changing rooms, showers and a large canteen with a terrace. By car, you can get to the Johan Cruyff Arena within half an hour from the sports parks. You have fantastic park and ride (P&R) facilities to take the metro or tram to Amsterdam city Centre.
